The process for developing a GCSC mission statement began last spring with the district leadership committee and has continued throughout the fall within the school buildings. Five mission statements based on the determined beliefs and key concepts of stakeholders were presented to the district leadership committee. Following review by the committee, two mission statements have been proposed for stakeholder review.
1. GCSC is a school and community partnership committed to providing a safe and engaging learning environment developing outstanding, responsible citizens ready to advance an ever-changing world.
2. GCSC provides an engaging learning environment of high expectations in partnership with parents and community where students safely grow academically, emotionally, and socially.
