Notification 1-27-21

Good Evening,

I would like to thank our families for their patience and cooperation while we have operated in Stage 2 of the Learning Plan.  Although the Hybrid schedule for MS and HS students is not ideal, it has helped reduce the amount of students and staff members required to quarantine.

Today, Putnam County returned to “orange” on the ISDH metrics map.  After reviewing GCSC data and conferring with the Putnam County Health Department, it is with great pleasure that I announce our return to Stage 1 of the Learning Plan (PK-12: On-Campus) beginning Monday, February 1, 2021.

In preparation for all students returning to our buildings, I have asked administrators to review COVID-19 protocols with staff and students.  We are asking for your cooperation in prioritizing and complying with all COVID-19 protocols in order for our schools to begin and remain Stage 1.  For your convenience, we have included links to our protocols we expect all families and staff members to follow below.

Educationally Yours,

Jeff Gibboney
